Harley Hook

Hello! I am Harley Hook — your 2026 Miss United Rodeo Association. I am the daughter of Ryan Hook and Caitlin Wentworth.

I am a senior in high school and an active member of my school’s FFA, our county Youth Expo Board, and our local saddle club. I will be serving as our FFA chapter’s treasurer for the 2026–2027 school year.

My love for horses started as a young child thanks to an awesome pony, RJ, and my biggest fan, my mom. She is by far my biggest supporter — no matter the struggle, she has words of encouragement and pushes me to do better. I started out in western pleasure and hunt seat, but realized the slower life just wasn’t for me anymore. I began competing in barrels, poles, and even some reining. For the past three seasons, my horse Tick has been learning how to be a barrel and pole horse. My other horse traveling with me is Pancake — she participated in her first rodeo last August and keeps improving each ride.

I have attended rodeos since I was little and always looked up to the rodeo queens. The poise and grace they possess was so intriguing. I knew I wanted to be one of them someday and be a role model to other young girls like they were to me.

After high school, I intend to further my education in Ag business with an emphasis on animal reproduction and equine science.

I enjoy traveling, and I’m excited to travel across the great Midwest region representing the United Rodeo Association — meeting the wonderful fans and athletes of this sport!

Besides horses, I also enjoy spending time with my dad hunting. Some of my fondest memories are made by his side in the woods — whether hunting deer, turkey, squirrel, or rabbit. If there is a season for it, you better bet we are hunting.
